Stay Connected.

A New Partnership with PONDEROSA YOGA COLLECTIVE!

Last summer, during a conversation with a dear friend and neighbor, Liz Hirschman, the idea began to take shape. We live near a woodsy wetland tucked between our cul-de-sacs—affectionately known as the Ponderosa Woods. That shared landscape felt symbolic: rooted, peaceful, quietly connecting us.

Liz and I have both practiced yoga for years. We’ve experienced firsthand how it supports not only physical strength and flexibility, but steadier breath, resilient nervous systems, and deeper presence. We found ourselves imagining what it would be like to offer that gift close to home, at a perfect community club across the street — creating a welcoming space where neighbors could gather intentionally.

We put that into action quickly, committing to deepening our own practice by enrolling in a 200-hour yoga teacher training, completing it in December 2025. At the same time, we opened the doors trusting that community would meet us there.

Since then, it has been a joy to gather each week in a space that feels warm, grounded, and genuinely welcoming.

Ponderosa Yoga Collective is more than a class. It is tea before practice. It is shared breath. It is neighbors becoming friends and friends becoming steadier versions of themselves.

We started this community because we believe connection matters. Because regulated nervous systems ripple outward. Because winter should not mean isolation. And because sometimes, all it takes is a mat, a shared intention, and an open door to bring people together.
